Inventeringsår 2011

Överbys ägor på norra Vindö var bland de första i Värmdö kommun som styckades för fritidshus. Abborrkroken på Vindös nordvästra del exploaterades i början av 1930-talet av Aktiebolaget Johannes Swenson, en grosshandlare i Stockholm som med tiden i stället kom att ägna sig åt fastighetsförsäljning. År 1932 förvärvade Swenson 1½ mantal Överby nr 1 med Högbena och Hummelmora på Vindö. Abborrkroken var då ett torp under gården. Syftet med exploateringen var att skapa tomter för sportstugor. År 1933 fastställdes två planer för Abborrkroken, varav den ena omfattade cirka 100 fastigheter och den andra närmare 80. Redan samma år som planern...
